Day-by-Day Itinerary

  1. 1

    Day 1

Taipei – Route 3 – Sun Moon Lake

Collect bikes in Taipei after a safety briefing, then head south on Route 3. Stop at the earthquake-fractured Longteng Viaduct in Miaoli, continue on the scenic Route 21 mountain road, and arrive at Sun Moon Lake for a lakeside overnight.

  2. 2

    Day 2

Wenwu Temple – Alishan Road – Tataka Twin Trees, Back to Sun Moon Lake

Morning circuit of the lake to Wenwu Temple, then climb the celebrated Alishan highway to the ancient Tataka twin cypress trees. Return to Sun Moon Lake for another lakeside night and team debrief.

  3. 3

    Day 3

Wuling Summit – Taroko Gorge – Qingshui Cliffs, Yilan Onsen

The day's centrepiece is Wuling — Taiwan's highest paved road — followed by Taroko Gorge's sheer marble canyons and the dramatic Qingshui Cliffs rising straight from the Pacific. Unwind at a Yilan hot-spring hotel.

  4. 4

    Day 4

Lanyang Museum – San Diaojiao Lighthouse – Jiufen Old Street – Bike Return, Xinzhuang

Morning cultural stop at Lanyang Museum and Taiwan's easternmost lighthouse, then the nostalgic hillside lanes of Jiufen Old Street. Return bikes at Honga Xinzhuang and say goodbye.
