Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 1
Depart Hong Kong
Evening assembly at HKIA and overnight flight via a European hub to Edinburgh. Sleep aboard and prepare for the Highlands.

Day 2
Arrive Scotland – Snow Road (~250km)
Collect bikes in Edinburgh and head into the Cairngorms National Park on the Snow Road Scenic Route — at over 600m, a beautifully bleak introduction to the Highlands.

Day 3
Dunrobin Castle – John O'Groats (~327km)
Photograph the fairy-tale Dunrobin Castle, then push to John O'Groats and Duncansby Head — Scotland's northeast extremity with its dramatic stacks rising from the sea.

Day 4
NC500 North Coast Road (~265km)
Officially on the NC500: fjord-like sea lochs, sandy beaches, and ancient mountains. Widely regarded as one of the world's top five scenic drives.

NC500 – Wester Ross Highlight Section (~266km)
Wester Ross is where the NC500 reaches its most remote and breathtaking — soaring peaks, shimmering sea lochs, and virtually no other traffic.

Isle of Skye (~367km)
Cross the bridge to Skye and explore its otherworldly landscapes: the contorted ridges of The Quiraing, the iconic Old Man of Storr, and the waterfall-streaked Kilt Rock.

Loch Ness – Loch Lomond (~357km)
Visit Urquhart Castle ruin on the shores of Loch Ness, then sweep south to Loch Lomond and the Trossachs, stopping at viewpoints along the way.

Stirling – Return to Edinburgh (~57km)
Morning at Stirling Castle, then ride into Edinburgh to hand back the bikes. Afternoon free to explore the Old Town, the Royal Mile, and a whisky bar or two.

Edinburgh – Free Morning – Fly Home
Free morning in Edinburgh before heading to the airport. Overnight connecting flight via Frankfurt, arriving Hong Kong the following day.

What to Bring
- Full-face helmet (mandatory)
- Body armour (shoulders, elbows, back), gloves, riding jacket and trousers, waterproof boots

- Thermal base layers (Scottish autumn mornings are cold)
- International Driving Permit (IDP) and Hong Kong motorcycle licence (min. age 20)

- Difficulty ★★★★☆. Long-distance, many bends and gradients; prior riding experience required.
- Min. 6 riders. Booking must be made at least 21 days before departure; confirmed bookings are generally non-refundable.
- Bikes are collected and returned on a full-tank basis.
