Day-by-Day Itinerary

  1. 1

    Day 1

    Depart Hong Kong

Evening assembly at HKIA and overnight flight via a European hub to Edinburgh. Sleep aboard and prepare for the Highlands.

  2. 2

    Day 2

Arrive Scotland – Snow Road (~250km)

Collect bikes in Edinburgh and head into the Cairngorms National Park on the Snow Road Scenic Route — at over 600m, a beautifully bleak introduction to the Highlands.

  3. 3

    Day 3

    Dunrobin Castle – John O'Groats (~327km)

Photograph the fairy-tale Dunrobin Castle, then push to John O'Groats and Duncansby Head — Scotland's northeast extremity with its dramatic stacks rising from the sea.

  4. 4

    Day 4

    NC500 North Coast Road (~265km)

Officially on the NC500: fjord-like sea lochs, sandy beaches, and ancient mountains. Widely regarded as one of the world's top five scenic drives.

  5. 5

    Day 5

    NC500 – Wester Ross Highlight Section (~266km)

Wester Ross is where the NC500 reaches its most remote and breathtaking — soaring peaks, shimmering sea lochs, and virtually no other traffic.

  6. 6

    Day 6

    Isle of Skye (~367km)

Cross the bridge to Skye and explore its otherworldly landscapes: the contorted ridges of The Quiraing, the iconic Old Man of Storr, and the waterfall-streaked Kilt Rock.

  7. 7

    Day 7

Loch Ness – Loch Lomond (~357km)

Visit Urquhart Castle ruin on the shores of Loch Ness, then sweep south to Loch Lomond and the Trossachs, stopping at viewpoints along the way.

  8. 8

    Day 8

Stirling – Return to Edinburgh (~57km)

Morning at Stirling Castle, then ride into Edinburgh to hand back the bikes. Afternoon free to explore the Old Town, the Royal Mile, and a whisky bar or two.

  9. 9

    Day 9

Edinburgh – Free Morning – Fly Home

Free morning in Edinburgh before heading to the airport. Overnight connecting flight via Frankfurt, arriving Hong Kong the following day.
