Day-by-Day Itinerary

  1. 1

    Day 1

Arrive Ulaanbaatar – Airport Transfer, Hotel Check-in

Arrive in Ulaanbaatar and transfer to the city hotel. Team introductions, gear check, and pre-ride briefing. Free evening to prepare.

  2. 2

    Day 2

    Warm-up Ride (~230km): 30km Asphalt + 200km Easy Dirt

A gentle introduction to Mongolian terrain: 30km on asphalt, then 200km of easy dirt tracks through unique rock formations to shake off any rust.

  3. 3

    Day 3

    Marathon Dirt Day (~360km)

A punishing but rewarding 360km dirt marathon across the open steppe — big sky, wide horizons, and the test of your endurance. Camp or basic lodging en route.

  4. 4

    Day 4

Canyon All-Dirt Challenge (~300km) – Orkhon Red Waterfall

Three hundred kilometres of canyon dirt, technically the most demanding day so far. Reward yourself with the spectacular Orkhon Red Waterfall at dusk.

  5. 5

    Day 5

Rest Day at Orkhon Canyon – Horse Riding & Nomad Culture

A full rest day for rider recovery and deep bike servicing. Optional horse riding and nomadic cultural activities in the canyon camp.

  6. 6

    Day 6

Mountain River Crossing (~120km) – Two River Fords

A shorter but intense day of ~120km including two river crossings in a high mountain setting — the trip's technical highlight for many riders.

  7. 7

    Day 7

Mini Gobi Adventure (210km) – Sand Dunes & Varied Terrain

Two hundred and ten kilometres through the mini Gobi region — sand dunes, gravel plains, and everything in between. A showcase of Mongolia's geographic diversity.

  8. 8

    Day 8

Hustai National Park – Przewalski's Wild Horses (~240km)

Ride through Hustai National Park on the hunt for Przewalski's horses — the world's last truly wild horse species. A unique wildlife encounter on two wheels.

  9. 9

    Day 9

Return to Ulaanbaatar (~100km Asphalt) – Traditional Farewell Dinner

An easy 100km asphalt cruise back to Ulaanbaatar, then a traditional Mongolian farewell banquet to celebrate completing ~1,400km of off-road adventure.

  10. 10

    Day 10

Departure – Airport Transfer, Fly Home
