Day-by-Day Itinerary

    Day 1

    New Chitose – Bike Collection, Furano

    Assemble at RENTAL819 New Chitose Airport, collect bikes, and ride southwest to Furano to begin the Hokkaido adventure.

    Day 2

    Tokachidake Overlook – Shirahige Falls – Shikisai-no-Oka – Biei Hills, Rumoi

    Panoramic volcanic scenery from Tokachidake, then the turquoise Shirahige Falls and the rainbow flower fields of Shikisai-no-Oka. The rolling patchwork hills of Biei lead the way to Rumoi on the Japan Sea coast.

    Day 3

    Ororon Line – Noshappu Cape – Cape Sōya (Japan's Northernmost Point)

    The legendary Ororon Line hugs the Japan Sea coast all the way north. Peek across to Rishiri Island from Noshappu Cape, then reach Japan's northernmost point at Cape Sōya — a defining milestone for any rider.

    Day 4

    Sea of Okhotsk Route 238 – Hinode Cape – Notoro Cape – Koshimizu – Shiretoko-Shari

    A long coastal ride along the Sea of Okhotsk on Route 238. Lighthouses, wildflower marshes at Koshimizu, and the gateway to the Shiretoko Peninsula at Shari.

    Day 5

    Shiretoko "Paradise Road" – Furepe Falls – Shiretoko Goko Lakes – Notsuke Peninsula

    Deep inside the Shiretoko UNESCO World Heritage site: the straight "paradise road" to the horizon, Furepe Falls plunging into the sea, and the serene mirror-lake views of Goko. End at the slender sandbar of Notsuke Peninsula.

    Day 6

    Kaiyōdai Overlook – Lake Mashu – Iōzan – Kussharo Suna-yu – Bihoro Pass, Kitami

    The 360° Kaiyōdai viewpoint, the ethereal fog-shrouded Lake Mashu, steaming Iōzan volcanic vents, and a hot-spring soak at Kussharo's sandy shore — a sensory-packed day ending in Kitami.

    Day 7

    Sounkyo Gorge – Taisetsu-ko – Mikuni Pass – Nukabira – Lake Shikaribetsu, Shintoku

    Dramatic cliff-and-waterfall scenery at Sounkyo Gorge, then the highest road viewpoint in Hokkaido at Mikuni Pass. The day finishes at Hokkaido's highest natural lake, Shikaribetsu, en route to Shintoku.

    Day 8

    Karikachi Pass – Kanayama Lake – Takinoue Park – Bike Return, New Chitose

    Karikachi Pass delivers a final sweeping view of the Tokachi plain, then waterfalls at Takinoue Park. Return bikes to RENTAL819 New Chitose and disperse around 17:00.

What to Bring

  • Internationally safety-standard helmet (mandatory)
  • Riding jacket, trousers, body armour, gloves, and motorcycle boots
  • Warm layers, windproof and waterproof outer shell (Hokkaido has large temperature swings, especially at altitude and on the coast)
  • Personal medication and daily essentials
  • International Driving Permit (IDP) and Hong Kong motorcycle licence

Terms & Conditions

  • Deposit: HKD 5,000. Full refund if tour cancelled due to insufficient numbers.
  • Registration deadline: 30 days before departure. Limited spots.
