Izu & Hakone in 3 Days — The Best First Ride in Japan

The 3-day loop from Haneda

Izu Peninsula + Hakone is Japan's most mature motorcycle touring region — close to Tokyo, dense with corners, stacked with landmarks.

Day 1 — Haneda → Hakone

Pick up from Rental819's Haneda or Shinagawa branch. Ride the Seisho Bypass into Hakone. Fuji, Lake Ashi, Owakudani — a full postcard set in one afternoon.

Day 2 — Hakone → Izu Kogen

Taikanzan → Atami → Ito → Izu Kogen. Mellow curves, newbie-friendly even on a CBR 650R or MT-07.

Day 3 — Izu Kogen → Shuzenji → back

Amagi Tunnel, Joren Falls, Shuzenji onsen town. Return via Numazu to Shinagawa, or take the long way on the Nishi-Izu Skyline.
